Towards better management and conservation of octopus
We have over 15 years experience working on octopus and other cephalopods and Zoë is a regular media commentator on these truly fascinating animals. We are currently working on a range of projects that support the sustainable management and conservation of octopus.

Understanding the impact of climate change on octopus physiology
Using a quantitative proteomics approach, we investigated the effects of thermal stress on octopus embryos. Our findings demonstrate changes in vision, protein chaperoning, redox regulation and energy metabolism indicating the severity of the thermal impacts on the early life stages of octopuses.
